This April WHITE SQUARE will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The festival will be held in Minsk and will last for three days, since19th till 21st of April. The organizer of the Festival, Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus, plans to arrange a real holiday for the participants inviting the strongest ever jury team and speakers of business program from 30 countries of the world, as well as going to hold a series of theme parties and enchanting cocktail of activations in honor of the anniversary.
Taking into account rapid changes in society and communications industry organizers have gained the best international experience in competition program and have made several changes in accordance with innovative and progressive industrial requests. Contests and nominations were modernized, rules of entry submission simplified.
For the first time this year there will be Creative Effectiveness contest held, in which projects will be evaluated in terms of their effective impact on the consumer. Continuing the traditions of Marketing Effectiveness contest, which has been successfully held at WHITE SQUARE for more than eight years, Creative Effectiveness contest will expand festival culture in new marketing conditions in which both agencies and clients around the world work today.
A number of transformations occurred in Digital contest, reflecting trends of the most dynamically changing nowadays sphere of communications. Several nominations that did not meet the requirements of time have been cut, several new relevant nominations have been added, including Creative Data.
This year socially-oriented projects will be accepted only into Social Advertising contest and will not compete with commercial projects. Nevertheless, supporting significance of social projects promotion for the first time ever at the festival a special Grand Prix for social ad contest will be established.

All submitted entries will be evaluated by five categories of international jury which promises to become one of the most star of all. The jury will be announced in early February, at the start of the main stage of call for entries. Grand Prix will be traditionally chosen by special jury team consisting of the chairmen of basic jury categories. Such system of entry evaluation has already been highly appreciated by representatives of global creativity rating The Gunn Report who plan to visit WHITE SQUARE once again this year.
Inviting agencies to participate at the Festival, WHITE SQUARE, as previously, organizes more than 30 PUBLICATIONS of prize-winning entries on the world's leading industrial Internet resources. Cause We Can! – sounds the slogan of new advertising campaign of the Festival on world arena, calling on agencies to demonstrate their creative solvency, best realized marketing practices and creative projects, their real impact for the effectiveness of clients in business.
Entries are already being accepted on the website. Participation is on paid basis. Fees are quite democratic, plus the Festival provides three stages of entry submission with substantial discounts for early birds. The first deadline comes on January 31.
To remind, WHITE SQUARE is included into Creativity ratings of Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus, Association of Communications Agencies of Russia, All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, Estonian Association of Marketing and Communications Agencies, Rating of creativity of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and also new Effectiveness rating of Association of Communications Agencies of Russia.
