Gatis is an award-winning creative director, guest lecturer in leading universities, recognized public speaker and author of many articles for business magazines about advertising, digital era, and creativity.
He has acquired valuable experience working for major international agency networks like BBDO, Inorek&Grey, Young&Rubicam and with clients like Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Masterfoods, GM, Subaru, GlaxoSmithCline, Nokia, NASDAQ as well as local brands like Laima, Population Census, Dienas Bizness, Road Traffic Safety directorate, Snorasbanka, FoodUnion, ERGO, Lattelecom and many others.
Gatis has received multiple awards and recognitions for his work including Golden Hammer, silver Adwards medal and many more. Often his campaigns are found in shortlists of different contests, or even included in world-famous Jean-Marie Boursicot Ad-Eaters Collection.
Gatis is active member of board in Latvian Art Directors Club (LADC).
