In Russia many companies offer their clients alcohol as Christmas gift – as usual, it happens before the Season holidays when employees are still at work in their offices. Alas, consumption of alcoholic beverages at one’s working place is prohibited by Russian Labour Law. So Leo Burnett decided to surprise their clients with a bottle of champagne that they could enjoy without violating the law. We tagged the bottles with a tag that located it in a law-exempted territory. To do this, we used the standard IOS API. Since every photo in your iPhone bears the geodata of the place where it was taken, we created several microsites whose task was to replace these by the geodata of, say, Antarctica. Now you could safely share selfies with you drinking alcohol in your office because, technically speaking, you were miles away from work!
