Na medu is a family run health chocolate business that uses honey instead of sugar. The agency was faced with the task of redesigning the brand. Initially, chocolate was sold in craft paper and did not have a pronounced communication, which made it hardly noticeable on the shelf, and it was difficult to differentiate different tastes. The agency was faced with the task of moving away from the aesthetics of a small manufactory towards a modern, vibrant international brand that conveys health benefits and the pleasure of rich taste. We decided to literally visualize the idea of ​​the product on the packaging. A simple and recognizable silhouette of a honeycomb immediately sends the viewer to the composition, and minimalistic illustrations of ingredients in the form of cocoa beans and fruits are placed right on it. The honeycomb serves as a branding area for a dynamic logo with a flying bee. It was important for us to create not a “snobbish”, but an open and positive image of the brand for the general public. Asymmetric compositions and rich colors help to distinguish different types of chocolate, highlight packaging on the shelf, excite receptors and cheer you up.
