PARTNERS NEWS: MARKETING EDGE SET TO HOLD 2023 1ST QUARTERLY VIRTUAL SUMMIT

24.03.2023

MARKETING EDGE publication is set to hold its 2023 first Quarterly Virtual Summit on Wednesday, 29th of March, 2023, via Zoom between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm (West Africa Time).

The Summit, which has been the talking point in the Integrated Marketing Communications industry, promises to be as educative and enlightening as ever. To this end, a robust panel of industry-savvy, intellectually sound, and speakers has been put in place to lead the discussions. The topics for the Summit are: In search of Innovation, The Role of Policymakers & Market Leaders in a VUCA Economy, Climbing the Value Chain, Scenario Planning as Panacea for Complex Marketing Environment, and Strategic Relationship as Useful Tool for Navigating Changing Ecosystem.

The Lead Speakers for the summit are: David M. Raab, Founder and CEO of the New York-based Customer Data Platform Institute, who will lead the first session and Yaw Nsarkoh, the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Unilever Ghana and Nigeria, who will lead the second session. The high level panelists for the two sessions are: Olukayode Morenikeji Oluwasona, Chief Executive Officer of 1201 Brandsway Limited; Aderemi Apatira, Ideator/Innovator, PawaAce Energytech Limited, owners of the PawaPlus App/software and Lead Consultant of October 20 Communications Limited, and Fehintola Odunayo, Senior Creative Strategist at Lifespot360, amongst others.

While commenting on the summit, John Ajayi, Managing Director, MARKETING EDGE said: “The idea of the Summit was borne out of the commitment to agenda-setting goals of the organisation and the need to bring the industry together to discuss topical issues of interest. As an agenda-setting publication, stakeholders expect much from us, especially at this critical time. This is our little way of stimulating meaningful and result-oriented conversations in the IMC as it recovers from its myriad of challenges. It is also a way of accomplishing our self-appointed task of promoting the brand idea.” He assured that the forthcoming Summit would undoubtedly be an improvement on the previous editions, as the multiple topics being looked into clearly indicate that the scope of the Summit has been widened to accommodate current issues that are germane to the industry.
