Project idea: "My Site" is Russia's first social network for comfortable communication, self-actualization and education of people with Down syndrome and their inclusion in the digital space. The uniqueness of the project: We created a new solution aimed at increasing digital accessibility for teens and young adults with Down syndrome. Our platform responds to current trends - the introduction of modern digital tools in the nonprofit sector and the inclusion of people with mental disabilities in social life. There are no analogues of our platform in Russia yet. Thus, our project can become a benchmark for charitable foundations and NCOs. Using the example of "My Site", the methodology for developing a social network for people with mental disabilities, in this case, Down syndrome, was created and fine-tuned. It can be useful for the development of digital products aimed at people with other mental features.
