According to research, mosquitoes are repelled by the odor created from burning used coffee grounds. So we thought, why dispose all of Coffee Project’s used coffee grounds, if we can repurpose them into mosquito repelling incense? So we created BEANCENSE. Coffee-made Dengue repellent. We mixed old coffee grounds with wood shavings, packaged them in jars, and gave them away in our cafes nationwide. To use it, simply scoop 2-3 spoons of Beancense from the jar, place it on a saucer, and light it up.
